Uncommon 3.5 x 5.5-inch black and white portrait, dating to the 1950s.  In good condition for its age, with gentle creasing to the upper and lower left-hand corners and scattered handling dings.  The ever-dignified British character actor was memorable in Saint Joan (1953), Billy Liar (1963), the James Bond film Octopussy (1983), and many other classics.  He made a considerable number of contributions to the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres, with supporting roles in Things to Come (1936), Midnight at the Wax Museum (1936), The Frightened Lady (1940), A Ghost for Sale (1952), Gilbert Harding Speaking of Murder (1954), The Flesh and Blood Show (1972), The Satanic Rites of Dracula (1973), House of Whipcord (1974), and The Godsend (1980).  In the 1960s, he was also a regular on T.V.'s "Doctor Who".
