Exceptional vintage 8x10-inch black and white publicity portrait for All About Eve (1950), her career peak, pictured with co-star Gary Merrill, boldly signed and inscribed in later years in black felt-tip pen. In fine condition, with scattered extremely mild handling bends, all essentially invisible when the photograph is viewed head-on. Glamorous leading lady Anne Baxter, who so excelled at playing sultry, scheming vamps, won an Academy Award for her performance in The Razor's Edge (1946) and was nominated again for All About Eve (1950). Her long list of other memorable credits include Charley's Aunt (1941), The Magnificent Ambersons (1942), A Royal Scandal (1945), I Confess (1953), and The Ten Commandments (1956). She died of a brain aneurysm at the age of 62.
