Cat. #0006032: MARLON BRANDO

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

A RARE authentic vintage 3.5 x 5.5-indh double-weight deckle-edge black and white postcard portrait as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls (1955), signed in turquoise fountain pen in the 1950s, with the more rushed variant of his signature. In very fine condition, with the nib of the pen very slightly breaking the surface of the photo where he wrote the "a" in his first name. Note that this item had originally been offered by Tom Kramer of Golden Age Autographs, which was widely recognized as one of the best-trusted sources in the field of vintage entertainment autographs. Iconic two-time Oscar-winner Marlon Brando brought gripping realism to classic films like A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), Viva Zapata! (1952), Julius Caesar (1953), The Wild One (1953), On the Waterfront (1954), Reflections in a Golden Eye (1967), The Godfather (1972), Last Tango in Paris (1972), and Apocalypse Now (1979). He is also remembered by sci-fi and fantasy fans for his roles in Superman (1978) and The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996).
