Cat. #0010651222: JOSEPH COTTEN

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Somber-looking 8x10-inch black and white portrait in his prime, boldly signed with his name alone in black felt-tip marker in the 1980s. In good condition. Tall, no-nonsense Joseph Cotten came to prominence in Orson Welles' Citizen Kane (1941), and the pair went on to collaborate in The Magnificent Ambersons (1942), Journey Into Fear (1943), and The Third Man (1949). He went on to become one of the leading Hollywood actors of the 1940s and early 1950s, electrifying in films like Alfred Hitchcock's Shadow of a Doubt (1945), Love Letters (1945), Duel in the Sun (1946), Portrait of Jennie (1948), and Niagara (1953).
