Uncommonly early 5x7-inch sepia-tone portrait, boldly signed in turquoise fountain pen in the mid-1940s, the era in which she appeared in the Bela Lugosi horror flick Zombies on Broadway (1945) and as Tess Truehart in Dick Tracy (1945), opposite Morgan Conway. In fine condition, with a light crease to the upper area which is invisible when the piece is viewed head-on. Lovely Anne Jeffreys was also memorable as the restless specter Marion Colby on T.V.'s fantasy-themed sitcom "Topper" (1953-1955).
