Scarce signature in black ballpoint pen on a bookplate affixed to a removed title page from is autobiography, Memoirs of a Wolfman, dating to the time of its publication in 2000. In good condition and nice for matting with a favorite photograph. Late, great Madridian film actor, screenwriter, director, and horror icon Paul Naschy was dubbed the Spanish Lon Chaney, having so memorably portrayed the Wolf Man, Dracula, the Hunchback, the Mummy, and Frankenstein in countless films of the 1960s onward.  Among his over 100 memorable credits were starring roles in such cult favorites as Frankenstein's Bloody Terror (1968), Les Noches del Hombre Lobo (1968), Werewolf vs. the Vampire Woman (1971), El Hombre Lobo: Dr. Jekyll vs. the Werewolf (1972), Vengeance of the Zombies (1973), The Mummy's Revenge (1973), Crimson, the Color of Blood (1973), Horror Rises from the Tomb (1973)Count Dracula’s Great Love (1973), The Hunchback of the Morgue (1973), Night of the Werewolf (1981), Panic Beats (1983), and Rojo Sangre (2004).
