Uncommon 8x10-inch black and white publicity portrait for The Long, Hot Summer (1958), boldly signed in black felt-tip marker in the 1980s. In good condition, with gentle glue remnants on the verso. Fascinating Joanne Woodward won an Oscar for The Three Faces of Eve (1957), and was subsequently nominated thrice more, for Rachel, Rachel (1968), Summer Wishes, Winter Dreams (1973) and Mr. and Mrs. Bridge (1990).  She was elsewhere unforgettable in The Long, Hot Summer (1958), The Sound and the Fury (1959), The Fugitive Kind (1960), They Might Be Giants (1971), and Sybil (1976).
