Rare and excellent vintage 8x10-inch black and white glossy publicity image for 1962's The Longest Day, boldly signed in black felt-tip pen in the 1970s. In good condition for its age, with mild creasing to the bottom right-hand corner tip. One of the titans of 20th century French theater and cinema, Jean-Louis Barrault is perhaps best remembered for his performance in Marcel Carne's Children of Paradise (1945), and was elsewhere noteworthy in Mayerling (1936), The Life and Loves of Beethoven (1936), I Accuse (1938), The Longest Day (1962), and Chappaqua (1966).
