Quite rare vintage 8x10-inch matte-finish black and white portrait as a two-star general, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen. In fine condition, with a mild bend to the top right corner tip, not affecting the image, and very faint silvering to the dark background, completely invisible when the image is viewed head-on. The piece has been affixed to an identical size piece of thin matte board. Highly decorated General Omar Bradley commanded the First United States Army during the invasion of Normandy in World War II and was appointed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in 1949. He was only one of nine officers to be awarded the rank of five-star general.
