Scarce vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait of the deliciously funny character actress of the 1930s and 1940s, signed in black fountain pen with an inscription to either a real-life postmistress or a fellow actress who portrayed a postmistress on-screen, adding a date of 1940. In good condition, with pinholes to all four corners and a few minor handling dings.
