Scarce vintage inscribed blue fountain pen signature on a 3x5-inch tan card, acquired in-person by an inveterate autograph hound in the 1950s and decorated with a small Players Directory image. In good condition. Note that the image of the star shown here alongside the scan of the autograph is not included. Smoldering actress and model Hazel Brooks, who made headlines at age 19 when she married 51-year-old Cedric Gibbons, was memorable in a mixed bag of A- and B-pictures, including Du Barry Was a Lady (1943), Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo (1944), Ziegfeld Follies (1945), The Harvey Girls (1946), Body and Soul (1947), Sleep, My Love (1948), The Basketball Fix (1951), and The I Don't Care Girl (1953).
