Ultra-, ultra-rare in-person signature in bold black marker on a photocopied newspaper article on light green paper, dating to the late 1990s. In very good condition. Jeff Buckley spent a decade as a session guitarist in Los Angeles, building up a cult following as a sad-voiced singer and sensitive songwriter whose debut album "Grace" (1994) was immediately hailed a masterpiece. In 1997, while recording its much-anticipated follow-up, he tragically drowned during an evening swin\m in Tennessee's Wolf River when he was caught in the wake of a passing boat, lost in the water for six days. He was just 30 years old. A decade later, Rolling Stone Magazine hailed him as one of the greatest singers of all-time. An extremely important music autograph, and probably the only example any of us is likely to encounter for a long while!
