Exceedingly rare 2x4-inch slip of paper, removed from a nineteenth century scrapbook, with the collector's notation in ink: "Autograph of the Siamese Twins" and a signature-- a shade light-- in pencil underneath. In fine condition, with some gentle age-related crinkles. Note that the image of the stars shown here alongside the scan of the signed piece is not included. Thai-American conjoined brothers Chang and Eng Bunker, who so famously toured with both American and Asian sideshows as just "Chang and Eng" to add to their exotic appeal, served as the basis for the term "Siamese twins." Authentic autographs are extremely difficult to come by and this is, indeed, the first we have ever offered.
