Exceptionally uncommon vintage inscribed bold pencil signature on a 4x5-inch blue-grey autograph album page, acquired in-person in in the 1930s, and amazing, in that he adds "Dick Tracy" at the bottom. In good condition, with a few minor creases in spots. No-nonsense, all-purpose actor Ralph Byrd is remembered for his portrayal of comic strip sleuth Dick Tracy in the beloved serials, films and television series of the 1930s through 1950s, right up until his tragic heart attack at the age of 43. His autograph is highly elusive in any format.
