Scarce inscribed signature in felt-tip pen on a 4x6-inch pale green autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1980s.  In good condition, with a few gentle surface crinkles.  Before his tragic death of liver cancer at the age of 53, good-looking English leading man Nicholas Clay was memorable in the cult thriller Night Digger (1971), The Darwin Adventure (1972), Excalibur (1981), Lady Chatterley's Lover (1981), Evil Under the Sun (1982), The Hound of the Baskervilles (1983), The Last Days of Pompeii (1987), Sleeping Beauty (1987), Lionheart (1987), The Odyssey (1997), and Merlin (1998).  He was also noteworthy, opposite Jeremy Brett, in a classic episode of the Grenada Television Sherlock Holmes series, "The Resident Patient" (1985).
