In good condition, with minor creasing to the right side, away from the writing. Good-looking baritone, songwriter, violinist, and film actor Russ Columbo popularized romantic ballads like "You Call It Madness, But I Call It Love" and his own compositions, "Prisoner of Love" and "Too Beautiful For Words." In 1934, at the age of 26, he was shot under peculiar circumstances by his longtime friend, photographer Lansing Brown, while examining Brown's gun collection.
