Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Scarce vintage original 3.25 x 4.5-inch black and white deckle-edged candid snapshot, boldly signed and inscribed in-person for inveterate collector Frances and Violet Zane in the 1940s. In good condition. British character actor Frank Conroy, who was typically cast authority figures-- good and rotten-- might best be remembered as the hate-driven former Confederate Major Tetley who leads the lynch mob in The Ox-Bow Incident (1943). He was also memorable in Possessed (1931), Disorderly Conduct (1932), Grand Hotel (1932), The Kennel Murder Case (1933), Little Miss Marker (1934), The Little Minister (1934), The Call of the Wild (1934), The Last Days of Pompeii (1935), Meet Nero Wolfe (1936), The Gorgeous Hussey (1936), Charlie Chan at the Opera (1936), The Loves of Edgar Allan Poe (1943), That Hagen Girl (1947), The Naked City (1948), All My Sons (1948), The Snake Pit (1948), The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), and The Last Mile (1959).
