Lovely vintage 5x7-inch 7.7 x 10.9-inch color portrait on a page trimmed from the 1927 Paramount Pep Club book, boldly signed in green fountain pen in-person for inveterate collector John Virzi in the 1960s. In good condition. Pretty Bebe Daniels starred as Dorothy Gale in the 1910 short film The Wonderful Wizard of Oz at just nine years old, and, at 14, she starred alongside Harold Lloyd in a series of two-reel comedies, starting with 1915's Giving Them Fits. The two eventually developed a publicized romantic relationship and were known in Hollywood as "The Boy" and "The Girl." Daniels is also remembered as the unfortunate target of one of the most infamous stalking cases in Hollywood history, which led to the arrest and psychiatric confinement of Albert F. Holland, who broke into her hotel room and threatened her, and sent her over 150 menacing letters, laboring under the psychotic delusion that they had attended school together and had a personal relationship.
