Cat. #0013542: FRANK FERGUSON

EXTREMELY rare vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait, dating to the time he was playing Eli Carson on T.V.'s "Peyton Place" (1964-1969), boldly signed and inscribed in black felt-tip pen to noted collector Ray Ward. In good condition, with possible very slight trimming to the borders. Just one of a small number of examples we have encountered in 30 years! Character actor Frank Ferguson's over 300 film credits included roles as stuffy, self-important types in films like They Died with Their Boots On (1941), The Body Disappears (1941), Reap the Wild Wind (1942), This Gun for Hire (1942), The Farmer's Daughter (1947), horror's Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948), The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (1953), House of Wax (1953), A Star is Born (1954), Johnny Guitar (1954), and Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964).  He was also memorable in a classic episode of T.V.'s "The Twilight Zone" in 1964.
