Scarce vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait as Sam Bailey in The Baileys of Balboa (1964), boldly signed and inscribed in black felt-tip pen in the 1960s. In good condition, with a few minor handling dings. Great character actor Paul Ford was one of the best at portraying authority figures whose ineptitude and pompous demeanor made for great comedy, notably as Mayor Shinn in The Music Man (1962), Colonel Wilberforce in It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963) and Colonel John T. Hall on "The Phil Silvers Show" (1955-1959).
