Rare and excellent 1931 signature in blue fountain pen given on the verso of a check, for which the lawyer and author who created Perry Mason was remunerated for the serialization of his story "No Rough Stuff" in Detective Fiction Weekly. The issuer of the check typed a note to the latter effect above the endorsement area of the check, transforming it into a sort of mini-contract. In good condition for its age and excellent for display.
