Rare vintage black fountain pen signature on a 1.75 x 5-inch clip from a letter on tan stationery, written in New York in the 1950s. In good condition and nice for matting with a favorite photograph. Chemist and manufacturer Charles Goodyear developed vulcanized rubber before his untimely death, after collapsing in shock upon hearing of the passing of a beloved daughter. He was the namesake of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
