Scarce vintage 7x9-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen in the early 1940s. In good condition, probably trimmed down from 8x10 inches for framing purposes, with a few minor handling dings. Lovely, husky-voiced English leading actress Joan Greenwood was memorable in films like The Smugglers (1947), Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949), The Importance of Being Earnest (1952), Tom Jones (1963), and The Hound of the Baskervilles (1978).
