The piece is additionally signed on the verso, with an inscription and brief note. In good condition. Toothy, gawky comic actress Joyce Grenfell first gained fame in Great Britain as a sharp radio and stage raconteur and monologist. She went on to appear in several dozen films, most notably as Sergeant Ruby Gates in the first three films in the St. Trinian's series.
