Unusually early 3.25 x 5.5-inch black and white postcard portrait, boldly signed in blue fountain pen in the early 1940s, at the very onset of her career. In good condition. Lovely, offbeat singer and actress Betty Hutton was memorable in classic films like The Fleet's In (1942), Star Spangled Rhythm (1942), The Miracle of Morgan's Creek (1944), And the Angels Sing (1944), The Stork Club (1945), The Perils of Pauline  (1947), Annie Get Your Gun (1950), The Greatest Show on Earth (1952), and Somebody Loves Me (1952) before essentially vanishing from Hollywood and settling into private life.
