Cat. #001566107: TEDDY INFUHR

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Scarce vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch tan album page, acquired in-person by inveterate autograph hounds Irene and Rose Gellar around 1946, when he was about 9 or 10 years old. A minor tear to the upper edge, some toning in the bottom area, and a small newspaper clipping of his name affixed to the lower edge; otherwise, in fine condition for its age and suitable for matting with a favorite photograph. Tough-talking child actor Teddy Infuhr, who was often uncredited in the over 100 films in which he popped up, was always a scene-swiper, noteworthy in The Tuttles of Tahiti (1942); Pardon My Sarong (1942); Madame Curie (1943); The Spider Woman (1944), as Gale Sondergaard's fly-swallowing newphew; A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (1945); Alfred Hitchcock's Spellbound (1945); The Best Years of Our Lives (1946); The Strange Woman (1946); The Bishop's Wife (1948); They Live By Night (1948); Ma and Pa Kettle (1949); and West of El Dorado (1949).
