Vivacious, hazel-eyed, strawberry-haired Jean Kent was a popular British star of of the 1940's and early 1950's, memorable as juicy scarlet women and imperious wenches in like Man of Evil (1944), The Wicked Lady (1945), Caravan (1946), Good-Time Girl (1948), Five Angles on Murder (1950), The Browning Version (1951), The Prince and the Showgirl (1957), horror's The Haunted Strangler (1958) with Boris Karloff, Sir Francis Drake (1961), Steptoe and Son (1962), and Crossroads (1964).
