TOUGH to acquire 8x10-inch black and white publicity portrait for T.V.'s "James at 15" (1977-1978), boldly signed in black felt-tip marker in-person at a film convention appearance less than a year before his untimely death. The highlight of child and teen actor Lance Kerwin's all-too-brief career was his starring role in 'Salem's Lot (1981), the excellent Stephen King adaptation by Tobe Hooper. Kerwin gradually abandoned acting to concentrate on church activities.
