Ultra-, ultra-rare vintage signature of the autograph-shunning genius in black fine-tip pen on a 1.25 x 5-inch tan card, from a rock solid source, dating to the early 1990s.  In excellent condition, having been lovingly stored by the prior owner, and ideal for matting and display.  Note that the image of the filmmaker shown alongside the scan of the signature here is not actually included with the piece.  Visionary, elusive director Stanley Kubrick was nominated for six Oscars, winning one for 1968's sci-fi classic 2001: A Space Odyssey.  His brilliant body of work-- 16 magnificent masterpieces, obsessively crafted-- includes The Killing (1956), Paths of Glory (1957), Spartacus (1960), Lolita (1962), Dr. Strangelove (1964), A Clockwork Orange (1972), Barry Lyndon (1975), the horror favorite The Shining (1980), Full Metal Jacket (1987), and Eyes Wide Shut (1999).  Items signed only with his first name have sold elsewhere in excess of $1,000.00!
