Rare vintage oversize 11x14 sepia-tone portrait, signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in 1932. In fine condition for its age, with the writing a hint light in a few spots. Lovely, if tough-talking silent and early talkie star Lila Lee was memorable in a number of notable horror, crime and mystery flicks, including Terror Island (1920), The Ghost Breakers (1922), The Midnight Girl (1925) with Bela Lugosi, The Black Pearl (1928), The Gorilla (1930), The Unholy Three (1930) with Lon Chaney, Officer Thirteen (1932), The Intruder (1933), and The People's Enemy (1935). She was also noteworthy in Blood and Sand (1922) with Rudolph Valentino.
