Highly rare vintage 8x10-inch black and white double-weight publicity portrait as Kadereit in 1940's Dr. Ehrlich's Magic Bullet, boldly signed in black fountain pen in 1944, with a second autograph on the verso. In good condition for its age. Among his his nearly 200 classic film credits, bald, menacing Danish character actor Torben Meyer had small, but memorable roles in a number of horror classics, including The Man Who Laughs (1928), Murders in the Rue Morgue (1932), Bride of Frankenstein (1935), The Black Room (1935), Mark of the Vampire (1935), Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943), and The Fly (1958). His credits in other genres included Roberta (1935), A Tale of Two Cities (1935), King of Burlesque (1936), Sullivan's Travels (1941), Casablanca (1942), The Palm Beach Story (1943), and Judgment at Nuremberg (1961).
