Quite scarce vintage heavy pencil signature on a 3.75 x 4-inch portion of a pale grey autograph album page, acquired in-person in 1935. In good condition and accompanied by a small computer-printed image of the star. Diminutive, ernest-looking character actress Dorothy Peterson played long-suffering wives and mothers in dozens of features throughout the 1930s and 1940s before settling into television work. Highlights of her film career include The Reckless Hour (1931), Emma (1932), The Beast of the City (1932), Thrill of Youth (1932), I'm No Angel (1933), Side Streets (1934), Peck's Bad Boy (1934), Dark Victory (1939), Sabotage (1939), Lillian Russell (1940), Saboteur (1942), The Moon Is Down (1943), This Is the Life (1944), Mr. Skeffington (1944), and Faces in the Fog (1944).
