Rare and unusually early inscribed signature in blue felt-tip marker on a 3x5-inch white card, acquired in-person in the early 1980s.  In good condition for its age, with a mild crease to the upper left-hand corner.  Sunny, redheaded child actress Dana Plato unsuccessfully auditioned for the roles of both Regan MacNeil in The Exorcist (1973) and Princess Leia in Star Wars (1977), finally achieving stardom with the role of Kimberly Drummond on T.V.'s "Diff'rent Strokes" (1978-1986).  Alas, with the long-running sitcom's demise, her life descended into chaos, pocked with legal woes, drug abuse, stormy marriage, and an embarrassing leading role in the triple-x feature Different Strokes (1998), and she committed suicide by overdose in 1999, aged only 34 years.
