Uncommon vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait, signed and inscribed in black fountain pen, circa 1938. In good condition for its age. Pretty 1930s singer and actress  Beverly Roberts was noteworthy in a mixed bag of "A" and "B" pictures, including the Boris Karloff flick West of Shanghai (1937) and Republic's West of the Yukon (1938), before abandoning acting to to become the administrator of New York City's Theater Authority, whose members once comprised the five major entertainment unions.
