Scarce 1 x 2.5-inch fountain pen signature, clipped from a tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1950s.  In good condition and suitable for tight matting.  Best known for his portrayal of Dr. Alfred Bellows on T.V.'s "I Dream of Jeannie" (1965-1970), character actor Hayden Rorke played similarly snarky men of authority on the big screen, in films like Rope of Sand (1949), Sword of the Desert (1949), The Magnificent Yankee (1950), Father's Little Dividend (1951), sci-fi's When Worlds Collide (1951), An American in Paris (1951), The Robe (1953), All That Heaven Allows (1955), Pillow Talk (1959), Parrish (1961), Pocketful of Miracles (1961), Spencer's Mountain (1963), The Thrill of It (1963), The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964), The Night Walker (1964), and The Legend of Lizzie Borden (1975).  He was also memorable on a classic episode of "The Twilight Zone" entitled "A Penny for Your Thoughts" in 1961.
