Rare fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch pale pink autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1940s.  In good condition and ideal for matting with a favorite photograph. Doey-eyed, vulnerable-looking silver screen beauty Gail Russell died tragically of an alcoholism-related heart attack at the age of 36, after memorable work in films like horror's The Uninvited (1947), Angel and the Badman  (1947), Moonrise (1948), Wake of the Red Witch (1948), Night Has a Thousand Eyes (1948), Song of India (1949), and Seven Men from Now (1953).
