Classic Entertainment Autographs

Cat. #00320132: FRAN RYAN

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Highly rare black felt-tip marker signature on a 3x5-inch white card, dating to the 1980s. In good condition, with some minor crinkles in spots, and suitable for matting with a favorite photograph. Note that the image of the star shown alongside the scan of the autograph here is not included with the signed item. One couldn't possibly forget character actress Fran Ryan, who gained fame playing cranky aunts, dowagers, society types, and farmers on various television programs, including "Batman" (1966), "The Beverly Hillbillies" (1968), "The Doris Day Show" (1968), "Adam-12" (1969), "The Brady Bunch" (1971), "Bonanza" (1972), "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" (1977), "Three's Company" (1983-1984), "Highway to Heaven" (1988), "Mr. Belvedere" (1988), and "Night Court" (1987-1990). She had more substantive roles as Doris Ziffel on T.V.'s "Green Acres" (1969-1971), when she was called upon to replace an ailing Barbara Pepper, and Hannah Cobb on the last two seasons of "Gunsmoke" (1972-1975). She unaccountably signed very little during her three-decade career!
