Lovely 8x10-inch color portrait in her prime, boldly signed in black fine-tip pen in-person at a film convention appearance about two decades ago. In very good condition. Fetching actress and singer Connie Stevens began her career in mediocre teen dramas like Young and Dangerous (1957) and The Party Crashers (1958). After an auspicious performance in Jerry Lewis' Rock-a-Bye Baby (1958), she landed the plum role of flaky, tomboyish singer and photographer Cricket Blake on T.V.'s "Hawaiian Eye" (1959-1963), which transformed her into a teen idol. Alas, efforts to establish a big screen career in vehicles like Susan Slade  (1961), Parrish (1961), Palm Springs Weekend (1963), and the horror flick Two on a Guillotine (1965) bore little fruit, so Stevens concentrated on her musical career, scoring hits with tunes like "Sixteen Reasons" and "Kookie, Kookie, Lend Me Your Comb."
