Cat. #00411222: KENT TAYLOR

Surprisingly uncommon vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait, neatly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen, probably in the 1960s, also adding a handwritten note on the verso. In good condition, with thin borders that do not appear to have been trimmed, and gentle edgewear. Handsome leading man Kent Taylor was memorable in a mixed bag of As and Bs, including The Mysterious Rider (1933), I'm No Angel (1933), Death Takes a Holiday (1934), Double Door (1934), The Scarlet Empress (1934), The Accusing Finger (1936), The Gracie Allen Murder Case (1939), Deadline for Murder (1946), The Phantom from 10,000 Leagues (1955), Fort Bowie (1958), The Day Mars Invaded Earth (1963), The Crawling Hand (1963), Psycho-a-Go-Go (1967), Brides of Blood (1968), Satan's Sadists (1969), The Mighty Gorga (1969), Hells Bloody Devils (1970), Brain of Blood (1971), and Angels' Wild Women (1972).
