Highly rare vintage inscribed blue fountain pen signature, adding "Sheriff," a reference to his role on "Bonanza" (1959-1972), on a 4x6-inch off-white card, acquired in-person by inveterate autograph hound John Virzi in the 1960s and decorated with a book image. In good condition. No-nonsense character actor Ray Teal played Sheriff Roy Coffee on T.V.'s "Bonanza" (1959-1972), and he was also noteworthy in a great number of films, including The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), The Asphalt Jungle (1950), Ace in the Hole (1951), and Judgment at Nuremberg (1961).
