Scarce and charming 3.5 x 5.25-inch sepia-tone German postcard portrait, boldly signed in black fountain pen, circa 1926. In good condition.  Swedish-born Helga Thomas was memorable in a number of German silent classics of the early to late 1920s, including Nora (1923), One Glass of Water (1923), The Lost Shoe (1923), Rosenmontag (1924), A Day of Roses in August (1927), The Sinner (1928), Latin Quarter (1929), and Beware of Loose Women (1929).
