Scarce vintage 8x10-inch matte-finish black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in the 1930s. In good condition and quite difficult to obtain this early. With his slight build and adenoidal voice, Ernest Truex was the epitome of the henpecked husband or ineffectual boss in some 75 films over a 50-year film career. Later in his career, he appeared on two classic episodes of T.V.'s "The Twilight Zone" (1959, 1962).
