From a massive horde of signatures, all acquired in-person over three decades by an indefatigable autograph hound, comes this exceedingly rare vintage inscribed blue ballpoint pen pen signature in both Japanese and Western characters on a 3x5-inch tan card, acquired in the 1950s. In good condition, with a very minor patch of soiling. Fascinating Japanese leading actress Miyoshi Umeki snagged and Oscar for Sayonara (1957), and went on to stellar work in Flower Drum Song (1961) and on T.V.'s "The Courtship of Eddie's Father" (1969-1972). She signed virtually nothing throughout her career, and this is just the second autograph of the star we have ever offered.
