Rare and splendid vintage 10x8-inch matte-finish sepia-tone studio portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in the 1930s. In near fine condition, with a small tear, mild waviness and light stains in the top border; and an additional stain in the background at the top left corner, slightly detracting from overall appearance. Dubbed the "Mexican Spitfire," gorgeous movie icon Lupe Velez tragically committed suicide by overdose at the age of 36, making her autograph quite elusive in any format.
