Highly rare vintage 3.25 x 5.5-inch black and white Ross Verlag postcard portrait, boldly signed in black fountain pen in the 1920s. In good condition. German expressionist film pioneer Paul Wegener is revered by horror and sci-fi fans as the star of The Golem (1920), which also co-wrote and co-directed. He made several other key contributions to those genres with A Bargain with Satan (1913), The Golem and the Dancing Girl (1917), Nachtgestalten (1920), A Daughter of Destiny (1928), and The Living Dead (1932).
