Extremely rare vintage inscribed pencil signature on a 4x6-inch pale pink autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition and suitable for matting with a favorite photograph. A member of the Westmore dynasty of movie make-up fame, Bud Westmore worked on nearly 600 classic films, including the horror, sci-fi and fantasy classics Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948), The Strange Door (1951), The Black Castle (1952), Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1953), It Came from Outer Space (1953), Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954), Revenge of the Creature (1955), Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy (1955), The Mole People (1956), and Man of a Thousand Faces (1957). He died of a heart attack at the age of 55, having signed very little for fans during his brief lifetime, and his autograph is quite elusive in any format.
