Scarce vintage black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition, with gentle crinkling and toning, and suitable for matting with a favorite photograph. Good-looking B-movie and serial star Grant Withers was memorable as Captain William Street in the Mr. Wong series of the 1930s and 1940s, opposite Boris Karloff, as well as in Sinner's Holiday (1930), The Arizona Raiders (1936), Jungle Jim (1937), My Darling Clemetine (1946), Fort Apache (1948), Wake of the Red Witch (1948), and Rio Grande (1950). He committed suicide by barbiturate overdose at the age of 55 and his autograph is quite elusive in any format.
