Scarce vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in the 1930s. In good condition, with gentle edgewear. Good-looking B-movie and serial star Grant Withers was memorable as Captain William Street in the Mr. Wong series of the 1930s and 1940s, opposite Boris Karloff, as well as in Sinner's Holiday (1930), The Arizona Raiders (1936), Jungle Jim (1937), My Darling Clemetine (1946), Fort Apache (1948), Wake of the Red Witch (1948), and Rio Grande (1950). He committed suicide by barbiturate overdose at the age of 55 and autographed material from the star is quite elusive in any format.
