Surprisingly uncommon 8x10-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed in black felt-tip pen in the early 1980s. In good condition, with a few negligible handling dings. Eminent film director, producer and editor Robert Wise snagged Academy Awards for West Side Story (1961) and The Sound of Music (1965), two decades after being nominated for Citizen Kane (1941).  Among his many wonderful films were horror, sci-fi and fantasy favorites like The Body Snatcher (1945), The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), The Haunting (1963), The Andromeda Strain (1971), and Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979).
