8x10-inch black and white portrait in his prime, boldly signed in-person in silver marker at a film convention appearance.  In mint condition.  Best known for his portrayal of John Evans, Sr. on the hit sitcom "Good Times" (1974-1976), African-American character actor John Amos played similarly hotheaded, but caring authority figures in films like Coming to America (1988) and Die Hard 2 (1990).  He also starred in a string of B-level horror, sci-fi and fantasy flicks throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including Dance of the Dwarves (1983), Two Evil Eyes (1990), Night Trap (1993), and Hauntsville (2007).
